I don’t know if I write well now, but I was clearly worse three years ago. It’s rough in some parts.

I included a link to your political blog, as well as using a too melodramatic language, to illustrate the differences between our politics, so anyone that read the article kept the obvious bias in mind. In fact, if I had found any review that showed the virtues of the game I would have kept my opinion to myself.

I didn’t know that you kept your different blogs separated, I know the Omnivore because it was in your signature in RPG.net. I thought it was still there until I checked now.

Yeah, I thought that was probably the cause of the changes. It’s pretty similar to what they did in Deadlands from what I remember. That was poorly worded in my part. What I meant to say was that in games where politics are only in the subtext it can be interesting to examine changes like that and wonder whether there is any subtext in them. C-13 is upfront about its politics so I didn’t think that it was worth reflecting on things that probably meant nothing.Matthew Flamenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04813207425073781691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6726750998942420918.post-44495131853129776922019-02-22T18:56:01.083+00:002019-02-22T18:56:01.083+00:00This review deserves a lot more time than I have r...This review deserves a lot more time than I have room for right now--but I'd like to get back to it. I really like the write up--and I think that the linking of it to my . . . political blog (and, to be clear, that's not a problem--but I do keep them separate for a reason) is very interesting.

I also want to say that the "revisions" of the crimes against Native Americans and the abominable institution of slavery were not done to white-wash reality in any way--but because (a) we wanted to make "people from the Southern States playable in C-13" and because we wanted some bad-guys out in the middle of the country who were *not* "Indians." (Native Americans).

So we had to change things up.

But the intersection of my politics and the games we've created is very interesting and deserves a response. I'll write one on the JAGS RPG-site blog, I think, when I have the time and have thought about it some more.Marcohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01280274659630509724noreply@blogger.com
